This is just some general notes on the various birds that visit/inhabit our garden.
Spotted Pardolote: These have been visiting for a number of years and in Winter/Spring 2002, they finally nested, thus bring a garden project to a grinding halt during the duration. It was lovely to be able to sit out the back and watch them come and go to and from their nest. Very cautious on approach, but very fast to exit. The photograph is of the male doing his scenery check before his final flight into the nest.
