This was another project that a local boy wanted to make for a while; i.e. "will you make us a billy cart". Needless to say I had other things to do.
Well, needless to say I said the wrong thing; "You are going to need some wood" and he returned with two long pieces of wood. Oh. He had also return with two other local boys. Hmm, so the pressure was growing.
"You are going to need a seat" and they returned with a plastic seat "Drat" .
"Got any wheels" says I thinking "Got-em". Nope, they had three 20" bicycle wheels. Okay, I'm a softy and I ignored the opportunity this presented to say "No can do, we need four wheels". Probably because I knew I had two axles and four trolley wheels just begging to be used for a billy cart. Sigh.
So, the saw horse came out and we cut the cross pieces for front and back wheels and the foot brace. By this stage four local girls had turn up.
Then it was time to start bolting everything together. .
